The Historic Saugeen Métis (HSM) is an Independent Métis community with an office in Southampton, Ontario, representing the descendants of Métis in the historic Métis community prior to settlement.

Description of Position

The Lands, Waters and Consultation Specialist is a dedicated professional, responsible for the coordination of large-scale energy projects in the region undergoing federal impact assessments. The Specialist engages with a broad range of regulators and proponents which include various levels of Government, Industry, and other organizations. The Specialist works closely with the Office Manager and staff while regularly liaising with the Historic Saugeen Métis Council and Community.
