Landfill Operations Manager (Working Manager)

Requirements:

  • Landfill operations experience required
  • Heavy equipment experience required
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts and rotating weekends

    • Schedule:

  • Opening Shift: 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Closing Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Rotating shifts required and rotating weekends

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily landfill operations, including construction, permitting, and leachate/gas management
  • Drive operational efficiency by controlling costs, improving productivity, and reducing truck turnaround times
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Lead, coach, and manage site employees, including training and performance management
  • Monitor site conditions, equipment, and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
