Labourer

Reporting to the Foreman and Supervisor on site, Labourers work together with other paving crew members to complete assigned paving projects safely, and by providing excellent service and superior workmanship.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Perform labour tasks including but not limited to: shoveling asphalt & stone, spraying SS1, sweeping curbs).
• Previous experience in road construction is an asset.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts. Days, evenings and nights are required at various times throughout the season.
• Able to work at a variety of site locations in Toronto and the GTA.

Compensation:

$44.95/hour (a graduated trainee rate may apply)

This is a unionized position, with Local 183.
