Labourer 2 (Water)

This position works in the Water – Operations, Maintenance & Construction organizational unit. This is manual work of some variety entailing physical effort and agility in the performance of semi-skilled and unskilled construction and maintenance tasks in the Water Operations, Maintenance and Construction division. The incumbent performs related tasks in the installation, repair and servicing of waterworks systems; including but not limited to locating and repairing leaks, installation of taps from 19mm to 450mm, pipe installation, water system maintenance and construction work. Performs related work as required.

Qualifications include up to high school graduation, and experience in general construction and maintenance work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
