Job Description
This position is responsible for performing animal care duties, which include a variety of routine tasks associated with general laboratory animal care in biomedical research that include and not limited to the list below:
- performing daily care of animals, including related duties required for the proper care, feeding and housing of laboratory animals
- performing daily animal checking and identifying clinical and behaviour abnormality, to report to veterinary staff
- performing daily checking of the facility or equipment, to identify and report issue to supervisor
- performing routine cage changing and sanitation
- performing general laboratory animal housekeeping and cleaning duties
