As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing sample and reagent preparation, DNA extraction and isolation, and quality analysis prior to genotyping. You will engage in various molecular biology tasks and contribute to data generation for platform-specific technologies. This role involves utilizing liquid handling automation machines, multichannel pipettes, and electronic repeaters. You will generate and analyze initial data from various laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation while maintaining accurate records in laboratory notebooks, sample archives, and LIMS entries. Your insights will help improve laboratory efficiency, and you'll be responsible for calibrating instruments and troubleshooting as needed. Adherence to SOPs and supporting ISO procedures with quality standards is essential.
