Laboratory Technician I

The Laboratory Technician I performs testing of basic components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications, procedures and acceptable industry standards in support of senior technicians. This position will serve our US Air Division , located in Fort Smith, AR . Responsibilities Use blueprints and drawings to design sheet metal components and general assemblies. Apply standards-based methods for empirical testing to evaluate assigned problems. Apply the basics of air flow measurements and computations including temperatures (dry bulb, wet bulb, dew point, relative humidity) and pressure incorporating temperature relationships to test setup and execution. Setup, adjust, and change test samples and setups for testing and perform the required testing in accordance with engineering specifications or defined test practices.
