Laboratory Technician

Key responsibilities
Improvement/Innovation
Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of measurement systems and 
procedures to ensure valid results.
Operational Compliance
Support the definition of procedures for each laboratory activity (measurement, instrument 
programming, test, calibration) and ensure compliance to external measurement standards 
and related GKN specific requirements.
Quality Inspection
Perform required inspection, instrument programming, test, or calibration according to the 
defined procedures.
Solutions Analysis
Identify and support the resolution of problems related to the material and/or manufacturing 
process.
Data Collection and Analysis
Support internal and external reports for product/process validation, material approval, and 
customer specific issues or requests. Retain appropriate documented information and test 
samples as evidence of the results.
