What you will be doing: Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot assigned analytical instrumentation, specifically GC/MS and GC-FID.

Process and analyze geological samples (including oils, core samples, cuttings, and soils) for testing, such as biomarker analysis and other compositional workflows.

Execute physical and chemical preparation of sample materials via cleaning, grinding, extraction, weighing, and washing.
