Laboratory Stores Assistant

About The Role

The purpose of this role is to work with the Warehouse team and internal customers, to ensure end to end delivery of laboratory consumables and support other warehouse colleagues. The role also creates purchase orders and works with the Lab stores team to enable full inventory controls.

Your responsibilities

• Assist with bar coding requirements within the S&IC warehouse.
• Provide support with Laboratory deliveries throughout the S&IC
• Support deliveries/collections to/from Laboratories as required, dealing with couriers and suppliers.
• Housekeeping and area cleanliness
• Undertake stock checks and add/remove inventory to LIMS as required.
• Creation of purchase orders and customer service
• Provision of general Health and Safety support throughout the warehouse
• Assist teams with their queries and delivery/collection issues.
