  • Full time positions based in Murarrie, Brisbane, QLD
  • Shift times Monday - Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 11:00AM to 07:00PM
  • An extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of National standard rate

    • Reporting to the Section Supervisor, a laboratory technician will be primarily responsible for sample preparation and involved in some analysis and other lab duties.

    Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

  • Receive and sort soil and water samples, assign tests in accordance with the ELVIS database and prepare batch sheets on Microsoft Excel.
  • Weigh samples and transfer subsamples to the appropriate departments in the laboratory
  • Extract analytes from water/soil samples as directed by the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure traceability of samples prepared or vialed.
  • Perform quality control tests.
