Laboratory Assistant I

The team at Spruce Grove Patient Service Centre (PSC) is looking to add a highly engaged, enthusiastic, and outgoing Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in this fast‑paced, public‑facing location. In this role you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions, including phlebotomy, ECGs, and monitoring wait times to ensure you are providing the best service to your patients. You will be the first contact that patients have with the laboratory and will work both independently and as a member of the team. This environment allows you to adapt and work effectively under pressure, utilize time‑management skills, and prioritize tasks within an ever‑changing environment. Your organization and communication skills will help you collaborate and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and other health‑care professionals.
