Job Description:

Assist with field data collection and plant tissue culture tasks that support an agile research team.

• Responsible for daily plant experimental tasks (pollination, observation, documentation) in field and greenhouse environments

• Responsible for daily plant tissue culture tasks (embryo collection, sampling tissue into blocks, transfer explants) in a sterile lab environment.

• Assist in experimental setup logistics, sample tracking, and data compiling.



Skills

• Consistent accuracy in following experimental protocols.

• Use Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and internal databases to capture and compile data.

• Ensure timely execution of protocols based on time of day, plant developmental stage, and team dependencies.
