Job Description
Under general direction of the Labor Relations Director, provide labor relations support to management, exclusive representatives, and employees on grievance, arbitration, administrative hearings, unfair labor practice charges, notices, and requests for information; work involving a high degree of confidentiality. Analyze and interpret University policies and procedures, applicable labor law and contract administration, provide problem-solving and decision-making assistance. Assure consistent application of collective bargaining agreements and agreed upon labor relations philosophy to assigned contractual and non-exclusively represented units.
