Job Summary Perform and review various routine and complex clinical laboratory tests according to departmental policies and professional standards to include maintenance, calibration and quality control in a cost-effective manner. Prepare test reports and notify appropriate healthcare professional of atypical/critical values with documentation. Assist with clerk, phlebotomy, specimen processing and pathology assistant functions as needed. Assume responsibility for complex problem-solving, exceptions handling, and student clinical training. Collect/Process chain of custody urine drug screens and breathalyzer tests. Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences. Uphold and promote patient safety and quality. Qualifications & Education Associate's degree in clinical laboratory sciences or equivalent with completion of clinical requirements.
