Job Description: Perform mechanical testing, including compression, tensile, and flexural testing on concrete, steel, and composite materials Prepare, mix, cast, and cure material samples to ensure accurate and reliable test results Assist engineering teams with the assembly, setup, and testing of structural prototypes Capture, analyse, and report test data while maintaining detailed records and visual documentation Maintain laboratory equipment, monitor inventory levels, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Skills & Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in a materials testing or engineering laboratory environment Working knowledge of SANS, ASTM, and/or ISO testing standards Strong data recording, analysis, and reporting capabilities Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience with composite materials and hydraulic testing equipment will be advantageous Qualification: National Diploma, BTech, or BSc in Civil Engineering, Materials Science,...
