Job Description

The Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that food safety and quality standards are consistently met. This position involves performing required testing on both raw materials and finished goods, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and certifications in accordance with customer, state, and federal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
  • Perform routine chemical analysis on raw materials and finished products, including measurements of pH, moisture, salt, and fat content.
  • Enter data and maintain records as required per laboratory SOPs.
  • Assist with product sampling, inspection, testing, and other duties to support the hold and release program.
