POSITION: Lab Tech 1 POSITION SUMMARY Under direct supervision of Production Manager, performs standardized testing to ensure product meets customer specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES and EXPECTATIONS Performs standardized quality control tests. Approves completed batches against prescribed specifications. Test samples per inspection plan. Makes effective material additions as required and brings batches up to standard. Maintains and documents proper quality control records. Performs general laboratory housekeeping practices. Has a general knowledge of the SAP system. Assists in general lab duties such as formula revisions, and colormatching as necessary. Has sound knowledge of finished goods product systems and their properties. COA reporting. Participates in TQM training and teams. Performs monthly reporting. Performs equipment calibrations.
