L3-Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN equipment from multiple vendors to ensure high availability and performance.
• Upgrade network hardware and software components, detect firmware vulnerabilities using tools such as Cisco TotalCare, Rapid7, and SolarWinds NCM, and create/automate upgrade plans and processes for switches, routers, firewalls, FTD, FMC, and WAN optimizers.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, including VLANs, Private VLANs, VTP-v3, STP, PVSTP, RSTP, MST, EtherChannel, UDLD, SPAN/RSPAN, DAI, IP Source Guard, SNMP, NTP, Storm Control, Port Security, Switch Stacking, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, AAA, Dot1x, MAB, DHCP, and DHCP Snooping.
• Configure and manage routers with static and dynamic routing protocols, including RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, route redistribution, route summarization, route-maps, access-lists, prefix-lists, NetFlow, IPLA, and VRF.
