Job Description
- Organize cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as kitchen tools such as pots, pans, serving spoons, and utensils.
- Rotate stock by bringing items from storage into the kitchen.
- Complete cleaning checklists and maintain appropriate timelines for cleaning and sanitizing.
- Collect dirty pans from the cooking line and transport them to the pot station for cleaning.
- Clean and maintain sanitation areas, including organizing cleaning supplies (mops, brooms).
- Maintain cleanliness of loading dock areas, ceilings, walls, and vents in the dish room.
- Ensure clean wares are properly stored.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
