Job Description

  • Direct and assist Stewards to enhance the efficiency of kitchen clean-up processes.
  • Ensure proper water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning are maintained and documented.
  • Assist with banquet plate-ups and various tasks as directed by cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Provide necessary items to cooks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support banquet and buffet operations by transporting supplies and maintaining adequate stock.
  • Return cleaned dishes and kitchenware to proper storage locations.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment, including hand-wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.

Leadership & Team Support:

  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
