Kitchen Sous Chef

Permanent contract – Crans-Montana, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct food preparation in the kitchen.
  • Ensure quality of food meets school standards.
  • Develop academic contents for the workshop.
  • Take on Head chef responsibilities in case of absences.
  • Control daily production and cleaning according to weekly plan.
  • Organise production and meal plan with the Head chef.
  • Coordinate with production kitchen in Bulle campus to create synergy.
  • Research and improve student experience in the workshop.
  • Manage purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Ensure kitchen stewardship and activities align with Moodle course description and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

  • CFC Cuisinier ou equivalent
  • Pedagogic certificate an asset
  • Pedagogic experience
  • Fluent in French and English
