Kitchen Porter

Markree Castle is now accepting applications for the role of Kitchen Porter, to join our friendly, hardworking kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and utensils
• Operate dishwashing equipment and hand-wash items as needed
• Handle deliveries and stock rotation
• Ensure waste is disposed of properly and in line with food safety regulations
• Assist in setting up and closing down kitchen operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential - training will be provided
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Good timekeeping and reliability
