Role Description

The Kitchen Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hermanus, responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation. Day-to-day tasks include supervising kitchen staff, managing food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and coordinating inventory, ordering, and stock rotation. The Kitchen Manager collaborates with the management team to implement menu offerings, control food costs, and support smooth service during peak periods. This role also involves training and mentoring kitchen team members, managing shift schedules, and promoting a positive, efficient working environment aligned with Bossa Hermanus’s hospitality standards.
