Job Description

The Kitchen Intern assists the kitchen team in daily food preparation and kitchen operations while gaining hands-on experience in a professional culinary environment. This role supports chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, and measuring ingredients
  • Support chefs in cooking and plating under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures
  • Assist in inventory checking and proper storage of ingredients
  • Help in dishwashing and waste disposal as needed
  • Comply with company policies and kitchen standards
