Job Description:

  • Prepare ingredients for daily operations including marination, portioning, slicing and proper storage of meats (especially ribs) and other ingredients, sauces and side dishes
  • Assist in cooking and plating menu items according to the company's standard recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Ensure proper food handling, temperature control and storage in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain organized and clean preparation stations at all times
  • Support the Head Cook at all times to ensure smooth kitchen flow
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or spoilage to the restaurant manager
  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, cookware, trays, chopping boards and equipment promptly
  • Ensure all items are properly dried and stored in designated areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, preparation areas, grills, dishwashing stations and other areas of the restaurant
