Job Summary:
The Kitchen Staff is responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic food preparation (cutting, washing, portioning ingredients)
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking tools
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and supplies
- Assist cooks and chefs in preparing meals as needed
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Dispose of waste properly and keep the kitchen organized
- Perform inventory checks and restock ingredients or supplies when required
- Support overall kitchen operations during busy periods
