Key Account Manager (food)

Our client is an international player of food fmcg market (fish, seafood and some frozen products). Their yet small, but growing team in Budapest is looking for a Key Account Manager to grow local availability of products and to build new retail accounts.

Main tasks:

  • Work directly with the management team to set and implement the retail sales strategy, allowing the company to maintain and improve its brand and reputation within the retail landscape;
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients;
  • Negotiate pricing and promotional activities;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits;
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs;
  • Identify and grow opportunities within assigned accounts;
