Kahnawà:ke Legislative Services Director

Lead Kahnawà:ke Legislative Services (KLS) to ensure a functional legislative system. This role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with KLC and community stakeholders.
The Director of KLS is pivotal in maintaining independence and integrity within the legislative process. You will oversee the amendment, enactment, and repeal of laws through the Community Decision Making and Review Process (CDMRP). Your responsibilities will also include managing budgets, developing strategic plans, and ensuring transparent communications with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for the KLS operations
• Report on legislative processes to KLC
• Develop procedures aligned with KLC direction
• Manage performance and development of the KLS team
• Oversee budgeting for legislative sustainability
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration and five years of leadership
