Junior Underwriter
Our client is a growing specialist property finance lender seeking a Junior Underwriter to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in real estate finance who is looking to develop their underwriting career within a supportive and expanding business.
The successful candidate will be involved in the assessment, underwriting and ongoing management of property-backed lending transactions, working closely with borrowers and internal stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess borrower affordability and financial suitability
- Manage loan applications from initial enquiry through to completion
- Underwrite lending proposals whilst identifying and mitigating risk
