**Your role and responsibilities**
What you’ll be doing:
* Write and run automated tests — following guidelines and picking up best practices along the way
* Turn test cases into working automated scripts (yes, it’s as satisfying as it sounds)
* Document test results clearly and report bugs in tools like JIRA Xray or Azure DevOps
* Collaborate with dev and QA teams — communication is key, and you’ll get plenty of practice
* Jump into code reviews and learn from people who’ve been in the trenches
* Support senior engineers in building and maintaining the test automation framework
