Junior Technician

Hire Resolves client is looking for a Junior Technician. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Town. The Junior Technician will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting, with a focus on Point of Sale (POS) systems and IT infrastructure. The role requires a hands-on approach to support, maintenance, and system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for POS systems and related infrastructure

• Add and register users and waiters in the POS system

• Manage and generate POS system reports

• Configure and maintain POS databases

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network and serial printers

• Assist with stock control processes and related troubleshooting

• Add recipes and costing data provided by stores into the POS system
