Job Description

Responsibilities

  • 2-3 years of experience with systems administration experience (preferably in an academic or instructional computing role, but this is not required)
  • Hands‑on management of servers, computer labs, and virtual environments
  • OS and server deployments; standardized imaging; software updates and compatibility
  • Knowledge of licensing, performance, and security requirements for lab software
  • Strong Active Directory experience (OU design, group management, GPO administration)
  • Ability to research, test, and implement new technologies with minimal disruption
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Preferred qualifications

  • PowerShell or scripting automation
  • Experience with Proxmox (VM provisioning, storage, hosts, HA)
  • Familiarity with AWS AppStream or WorkSpaces for remote lab access
