Job Description
The Sous Chef is accountable for the daily success of kitchen operations. This role combines culinary expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing all food-related functions. The Sous Chef leads kitchen shifts, supervises staff, ensures consistent food quality, and enforces sanitation and safety standards. The role is key to improving guest satisfaction and maintaining financial performance through efficient kitchen operations and team development.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; minimum 4 years of experience in culinary, food & beverage, or a related field
- OR
- 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; minimum 2 years of relevant experience
