Junior Software Tester

Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Software Tester with 1–3 years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The role involves executing manual tests, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams using Jira for defect tracking and test management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases
• Perform manual testing for web, desktop, and/or mobile applications
• Execute test cases and record test results accurately
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Verify defect fixes and perform re-testing and regression testing
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers through Jira workflows
