Junior Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 base + OTE £46,000, plus van, door‑to‑door pay, flexi‑time, training and progression.

Benefits: Overtime available, fully funded external electrical and hydraulics courses, national travel with door‑to‑door pay.

In this role you will repair, service and commission waste and recycling machinery such as balers, compactors and shredders. You will receive on‑the‑job training from industry experts and then work autonomously, travelling between customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, service, maintain and commission waste machinery.
  • Provide product training on balers, compactors and shredders.
  • Travel across a Midlands patch and nationwide for customer sites.
  • Work 40 hours a week (Monday‑Friday) with overtime paid at 1.5x.
