Job Title: Junior Machinist


Shift: Dayshift 7am to 3: pm /Full-time


Location: Brampton, ON (/0renda)


Permanent after 3 months of probation

PRIMARY PURPOSE


Our client is a manufacturer of high-Speed Packaging Machinery, and the Junior machinist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the machine shop by performing cutting of metal and basic bench work.


Reports To: Purchasing Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The Junior Machinist is responsible for producing mid-level components for assemblies and subassemblies


Bench Work 

  • Manufacturing mid-level parts for assemblies and subassemblies
  • Cutting rails
  • Cutting belts
  • Cutting guides
