Role Overview


An entry‑level to junior role supporting the development, configuration, and support of API and integration services usingIBM WebSphere DataPower. The role works under senior guidance and focuses on learning enterprise integration, API security, and middleware operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in configuringIBM DataPower services (MPGW, WSP, XML Firewall)

  • Support REST and SOAP API integrations

  • Apply basic security configurations (SSL/TLS, certificates, authentication)

  • Develop simple transformations usingGatewayScript, XSLT, or XQuery

  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues in non‑production and production environments

  • Work closely with senior engineers and follow established integration standards
