Role Responsibility

There is an exciting opportunity to join the Flood and Water Management Team in Kent. The team leads KCCs role as Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA), delivering local flood risk management across the county, working with partners to reduce the risk of flooding, improve the water environment and acting as a statutory consultee for surface water in planning applications.

This is a varied and interesting area of work, at the heart of how development happens across Kent. The team supports sustainable growth by providing expert advice on planning applications, contributing to policy and helping shape how flood risk and drainage are managed across the county.
