Junior Financial Analyst

• Accounting designation (CGA, CA, CMA) with 5 years experience in an accounting environment
• Expert in Financial Systems
• Very strong Excel skills.

Typical day to day

• Establish the bank reconciliation practice with the new billing system that will be implemented.
• Work with the project team to understand available data sources and set up the processes, maintaining them until automation is finalized.
• Participate in working sessions for automation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination, preparing and delivery of financial reporting and analysis.
• Responsible for the preparation of journal entries and maintenance of accounting records.
• Assist with the co-ordination of month end close activity.
• Responsible for the timely completion of complex account analysis and reconciliations. Prepare operating expense variance analysis.
