Junior Estimator

Role Summary

The Junior Estimator supports Scott Coatings' preconstruction efforts by performing digital quantity take-offs, organizing bid documents, assisting in cost breakdowns, and preparing proposal drafts. This is an ideal role for someone early in their construction or estimating career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow.

Work Schedule: 2pm-12am Pacific Standard Time United States (split)

Work Arrangements: Remote

Essential Functions:

Perform basic digital quantity take-offs (using Bluebeam or similar tools). It is not necessary to know Bluebeam software; they will train for it.
Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
Prepare initial cost breakdowns using Excel templates.
Organize material and vendor/subcontractor pricing for senior estimators.
Support the creation and formatting of bid proposals.
Maintain bid logs, tracking sheets, and follow-up documentation.
