Junior Design Engineer
Summary:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Junior Design Engineer will assist in the design of new products, set-up and monitor validation tests installations as defined by the Design Engineers and the Design Support Supervisor. Critical to the role is the drive to perform detailed innovative designs at a rapid pace, without compromising on thorough engineering principles. They will also assist with field testing both with initial product installation and ongoing inspection and monitoring. Preparation of appropriately detailed test reports will be required, utilizing the MS Office suite and CAD software. Staying abreast of the best practices of installation and working with the Phantom Lower Mainland distributorship as a seasonal installer will also be part of the role. Other contributions will include providing feedback, advice, and input as part of the product development team on installation considerations and design improvements.
