Junior Draughtsman/ In Service Trainee (Technical Design/Draughting) – Paarl, Western Cape Job Type: Permanent employment An ideal opportunity, for a junior draughtsman, with an established joinery company. In service training to be provided. Overview

  • Compile detailed production/manufacturing drawings.
  • 3D rendering of basic designs.
  • Review and update of drawings.
  • Provide technical support to departmental managers.
Minimum requirements
  • Formal qualification: National Diploma or studies completed in Industrial Design / Draughting.
  • Sound applied skills in either Auto CAD and SketchUp is essential.
  • Experience in and exposure to a manufacturing / production work environment will be advantageous.
  • Ability to focus on detail and achieving goals, deliver quality work at speed and meet deadlines.
  • Should be provisioned in MS Excel and MS Word (preferably intermediate level).
