Junior Designer, Mechanical

Summary

DMC is currently looking for a Junior Designer, Mechanical to join our team on a permanent basis, based in Vaughan, ON . The Junior Designer, Mechanical will be a working level designer continuing initial work experience, training and development. Under the supervision of a more senior designer or engineer performs design work of limited scope and complexity requiring application of prescribed engineering methods. Accuracy in design and completeness in the presentation of data is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives continued on the job training through support of more senior designers and engineers.
• Determines design criteria for minor structures, systems and equipment items and prepares specifications for same in accordance with manuals.
• Analyses minor engineering problems and prepares sketches for drafting personnel.
