Database Administrator
directs and performs all activities related to maintaining a successful database environment.

Qualifications

  • 1 or 2 years of experience in DBA roles or related
  • Knowledge of SQL server

Prefered

  • Located in Uruguay

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring that the database is up and running at all times
  • Working with database software to store, organize, and manage data
  • Pre-implementing tasks such as feasibility study, capacity planning, installation, and implementation activities
  • Configuration, designing, and developing database models
  • Migrating existing data from legacy platforms, designing and implementing backup and restore strategies, keeping databases up to date, and troubleshooting
