Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain product and standard costing.
- Prepare cost reports and analyse material and overhead cost variances.
- Identify and report abnormalities in overhead cost calculations.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting and month-end reporting, including over- and under-recoveries.
- Assist with stock counts and the analysis of stock count variances.
- Support bi-annual asset verification processes.
- Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with stock code creation and master data maintenance.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to internal controls, policies and accounting standards.
- Assist senior management with financial queries and ad hoc requests.
- Bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting.
