Junior Copywriter / Proof Checker required in Johannesburg.

Small agency. Big ideas. Mild chaos. Strong coffee. Our client – a small but gloriously busy creative agency is looking for a junior copywriter / proof checker who can write a snappy headline, spot a rogue apostrophe at 20 paces, and remain calm when a client changes “just one word” 14 times.

You’ll be the kind of person who loves language, notices when a sentence feels off, and gets a strange amount of satisfaction from turning messy copy into something sharp, clear, and actually readable.

Salary: R18 000 – R22 000 per month.

What you’ll do:

• Write and polish copy for things like social posts, websites, emails, brochures, captions, and whatever else lands in the inbox before lunch.
• Proofread with the focus of a detective and the suspicion of someone who trusts no typo.
