**Job Description**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Computer Operator to support the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Department of War Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC). This position serves as the primary operational monitor for High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, enterprise storage, and critical facility infrastructure while providing Tier 1 user support and coordinating issue resolution with technical teams.
Shift: Second Shift (1500 2300 EST). Candidates must be flexible to support varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on mission requirements.
This position is onsite at WPAFB, Dayton OH.
Key responsibilities are:
+ Monitor the health, availability, and performance of HPC systems, enterprise storage, and facility infrastructure using system dashboards and monitoring tools.
