We are looking for a Junior Category Specialistwithin the BESIX Procurement Department based in Brussels. 

You will report and assist a Global Category manager Steel Structures in driving and implementing strategic planning and category management in your own perimeter. This role secures up-to-date market knowledge and defines category strategies. Together with your manager you will learn and be responsible for sourcing, negotiation and overall supplier management for large volumes and/or complex categories in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support development and implementation on Procurement strategy on designated categories and provide input to the Global Category Manager when developing the purchasing plan.
