Junior Bridge Drafter/Technician

Job Description

Parsons is looking for a Junior Drafter/Technician to join our ever‑growing Bridges and Tunnels team of professionals and technical experts in Ottawa, Ontario. The Bridge and Tunnels team is involved in the pursuit and delivery of major bridge and structure rehabilitation and design projects in the National Capital Area and throughout Eastern Canada, with the ability to support other Parsons offices throughout Canada and the US.

What You'll Be Doing

• Under the general direction of a higher‑level Designer/Drafter, takes sketches and formalizes them into working engineering drawings according to established standards and procedures.
• Producing deliverables with some guidance from more experienced Drafters/Technicians.
• Interpreting and ensuring conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
